Garden 2011

Summer 2011 proved to be our best year yet with 3200+ pounds of produce and eggs donated to the Food Pantry of Green County. It all started with the traditional planting weekend in mid-May. Gary coordinated 8 volunteers who graciously volunteered a long weekend of preparing and planting. Once again, we expanded the garden to increase the amount of produce we could grow.

What produce did we donate in 2011?

Tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, peas, beans, sweet corn, summer squash, winter squash, lettuce, peppers, radish, beets, turnips, onions, brussel sprouts, pumpkins, and potatoes.

Thanks so much to our many volunteers in 2011!
